Eight years ago, I started The Album Company with one goal: to give families a proper place to keep the things worth keeping.

We create keepsake books that help families capture life's story as it happens. School albums that follow a child from Preschool right through to Matric. Baby journals filled with first memories. Books for grandmothers' stories, family recipes, weddings and milestones — the moments that matter most, but are often left to memory alone.

From our home in Napier, Western Cape, we design, pack and send every album ourselves. Every page is created with one purpose: to help you preserve the memories that would otherwise fade with time.

The things people treasure most are rarely the big moments. They're the small details. A Grade 1 handwriting sample. A baby's first weight. A grandmother's recipe written in her own hand. The name of a favourite teacher. A photo that instantly takes you back to a day you'd almost forgotten.

Those moments are easy to overlook when you're living them. Years later, they're often the things you'd give anything to have kept.
